The Memorial Fund Holiday Greeting
The Wittenberg Holiday Card has been a tradition for more than 45 years. In 1961, an organization known as “the Wittenberg Wives” established the “Wittenberg Wives Memorial Fund” as a remembrance of those faculty and friends who had passed in the previous year. The fund was established to provide aid to needy students.
Today, the tradition continues as do the generous contributions received from the campus community. All gifts made to the Memorial Fund will fuel the depleted “Emergency Fund” for those students who are facing an immediate future of not returning next semester. Your gift makes an immediate difference in the lives of these students.
Once again, we invite you to participate in the annual Wittenberg Holiday Greeting. All members of the faculty, staff and retirees will receive a holiday email with the names of all the donors to the Memorial Fund on The Wittenberg Fund website.
If you would like to give online, please visit our secure giving form. If you would like to send a check and are on campus, please send it to the Bayley Alumni House. If you are off-campus, please mail to:
Office of Advancement
P.O. Box 720
Springfield, OH 45501
All checks should be made payable to Wittenberg University with "Memorial Fund" in the memo section of the check. Also include the name(s) as you wish them to appear on the electronic card
on a separate sheet of paper.
Please respond by December 20, 2012 if you would like to be included.
